Wild.flower to Open in the Plaza District!

The Plaza District is pleased to announce the newest addition to the Plaza District, Wild.flower, a locally owned boutique filled with creative gifts, clothing, accessories and home décor. Owned by mother-daughter team Margo Connell & Kaleen Ezelle, Wild.flower offers an authentic and quaint shopping experience, as well as decorating services to help create your ideal look in your home.

The Plaza District is thrilled to have Wild.flower join our mix of retailers. We really feel their merchandise will compliment the handmade, artistic and vintage niche of our existing businesses, as well as bring in a new clientele to the district. Wild.flower will be yet another reason to visit the Plaza District to purchase unique merchandise with local flavor! We are looking forward to all they will add to the district and our events including LIVE on the Plaza and the Plaza District Festival.

Wild.flower will be located at 1751 NW 16th, and is set to open March 2011.

Additionally, the Plaza District will be announcing two more additions to the district in coming weeks, so be on the lookout as we begin to release even more exciting news!

Feeling like this about shopping for the ladies in your life?

Well, some gifts from the Plaza District might keep you from get this reaction…

I might be stepping out on a limb here, but I bet there are a few fellas out there who still need to buy some gifts for the ladies. Well, I’m a girl who happens to have a bit of taste, so here are some ideas of great gifts found in the plaza!

-Jewelry. I don’t think I need to explain this.

-Clothes. So, you’ve got yourself a laid back T shirt and hoody girl? We’ve got plenty of those too…

-Art. Original art by local artists, is one of the the best gifts you can give.

-Vintage. Timeless clothing, accessories make great gifts for gals who love unique and sentimental things. Think moms, sisters and grandmothers too!

-Gift cards. Let’s be honest, you  have to get her something to open…but add to that gift a Lyric Theatre gift card for future dates to shows, or a No Regrets Tattoo card for a more lasting gift, or just let her pick out her own gifts from any of our retailers.

Good luck! Images below!
